I'm now procrastinating from preparing for my defense by doing fucking chores.

Apparently I've got some interesting ideas for things that I consider more pleasant than doing actual work...

Uhhhh....did I just send my supervisor a document with the words "oh snap!" in the title page? I pasted two articles I was gonna read in the first page and there was one article that talked about  irradiation and that was what came to my mind...

I don't know if she'll be amused or weirded out...

...hopefully she won't notice...

My talk is 22 minutes long. [16 minutes if I talk super fast]
The seminar is one hour long.

Working on my presentation, spent more time making graphs and putting in animations than on actual content.

Maybe instead of the usual beer I'll bring whiskey or something so that people will be too drunk to pay attention.

I didn't get as far as I wanted to on my thesis today, but I did managed to clean the car and write a brief history of the Hubble Space Telescope!

I'm gonna need two cups of coffee tomorrow...

Today I met a person whose level of nerdiness I aspire to attain.
And I sounded like a total douche when explaining my research.

FML.

My data doesn't make any sense and is probably inconsistent with previous literature--not in a good scientific breakthrough, publish in PNAS, Nobel prize winning way, but in a WTF am I looking at this is bullshit I want to slit my wrists way.

Just got an email about another tuition increase at my school...because they think we're the demographic that's leaking cash from our every pore.
